6. BONGUEMBA
A poem by Antoine-Roger Bolamba (Zaire).

A story about the death of a pet and overcoming the sorrow.
Nzale has a goat that can dance and perform tricks. But one day the goat is too curious and greedy, and everything ends badly. Nzale mourns her loss. The Yellow Giraffe and the little drum called Bonguemba give her solace.

7. MY DAD, YOUR DAD
A poem by Kit Wright (England).

A story about living without a father and about the importance of siblings.
The films tells about Joey and his brother whose father vanishes when they move and about survival in a gang where the boys brag about their own fathers. To beat the other boys, Joey builds himself a new mechanical father.

8. TWO SISTERS
A Poem by Rabindranath Tagore (India).

A story about love and bicycles.
Rama is deeply in love with Sita who is the most beautiful girl in the village. Rama's little brother Rabi is much more interested in Rama's new bicycle than in girls. But he is not allowed to touch the bicycle, he can only admire it from a distance. The Yellow Giraffe makes up a plan so that both of the boys get what they most desire.

A poem by Vladimir Mayakovsky (Russia).

A story about family-democracy: is Daddy always right?
Nikolai is on a Sunday trip with his father and little sister. The day was supposed to be fun.They went to the animal statue park and the fun fair. But the keeper at the park forbid to play, and at the fun fair Nikolai did not get to wear the hat he wanted.

10. NOCTURNE
A poem by Conrado Nale Roxlo (Argentina).

A story about Aymara-children and about dreaming of the sea. Arturo is living in the highlands of the Andes. He, along with his brothers and sisters, dreams of the sea and a sailing boat. The Yellow Giraffe helps the children build a boat from reeds, and together they sacrifice to the Rain God for water.
