THE HYDRONAUTS

In co-operation with WWF

Animated television series 26 x 13 minutes about the sea environment
Genre: action-adventure • Age-group: 5 – 9 years • Animation technique: 2D full animation

Concept: Neptuna the extra terrestrial has been sent to planet Earth on a mission to study the marine world. Neptuna crash lands with her vessel Hydronautica in the Baltic Sea. There she meets Balty the seal and Ponto the seagull who decide to follow her on her voyage.

The series is a part of an information campaign which has been created together with WWF Finland and the Finnish TV channel Nelonen - to raise public awareness of the alarming state of the sea environment.
